I paint in acrylic on paper or canvas, carefully building transparent layers to achieve a reflective sense of light and space.  Finding infinite visual inspiration in my love for Lake Superior and the surrounding north woods, I am challenged by this region's creative spirit.  I want to capture these landscapes and botanicals to share with viewers everywhere.

What's your favorite landscape?   I especially enjoy commission work, creating custom paintings based on your photo references.
